Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers, and payroll.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Taxation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
- Audit and Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and financial planning.
- Cost Control: Monitor and analyze costs, identify areas for cost reduction or improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Cash Flow Management: Track cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure timely payments to suppliers and collection of receivables.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations in Malaysia and ensure compliance.
- Systems and Software: Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and CEO to provide financial information, analysis, and support as needed.
