Job Description

Due to our company’s business expansion activities, we are looking for capable, energetic, and self-motivated individuals to fill the following position:

Accounts Executive

(based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor)

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts and responsible for monthly accounts closing
• Manage and monitor cash receipts, accounts receivables, and payables of stores and post all necessary accruals, reversals, and journal entries in the accounting system
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and in-store balance adjustment statements
• Verify small cash at outlets on a monthly basis and ensure that all received documents are checked, verified, and matched
• Maintain weekly cash book
• Maintain monthly fixed asset schedules/lists
• Prepare monthly invoices and contact trade debtors/sub-tenants for payment
• Ensure proper maintenance of documents and filing to support all accounting entries
• Prepare audit and tax schedules
• Undertake any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the HOD or management
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors, utility service providers, and government agencies

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least LCCI Diploma, Accounting Diploma, or partially completed professional qualification
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant field experience
• Friendly, proactive, meticulous, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate high integrity and good professional ethics
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, and preferably familiar with AutoCount accounting software
