Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and prospecting. Develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new customers.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting our freight and logistics services. Collaborate with the sales/CS team to create compelling proposals and presentations for clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing any concerns promptly. Seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the freight and logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, especially in air freight.
