Job Description
The MEP Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects. They work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all MEP systems are properly designed, installed, and maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Oversee the installation of MEP systems, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of MEP systems to identify any issues or risks.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement solutions to any MEP-related problems.
- Manage the maintenance and documentation of MEP systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Considered a plus:
- Previous experience as an MEP Coordinator.
- Relevant certifications in MEP systems.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Experience working with large-scale construction projects.
