Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Cooking: Execute cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or sous chef, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean, sanitized, and organized at all times. Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.
• Dishwashing: Responsible for washing, drying, and storing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate tasks and maintain a positive work environment.
• Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of kitchen equipment, storage of food items, and personal hygiene.
• Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash bins.
• Flexibility: Be willing to take on various kitchen tasks as needed, adapting to changing priorities and demands.

Qualifications:

• No required for the education background
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From RM1,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
