Job Description

Position: Homestay Hospitality Intern

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

• Conduct sales and marketing activities for the homestay including but not limited to social media management, recording and editing videos, photography, managing booking platforms and websites, offline marketing, and follow-up on sales leads.
• Communicate with potential customers and guests through various channels such as calls, WhatsApp, email, and booking platforms.
• Manage homestay bookings and assign guests to suitable accomodations.
• Efficiently handle guest requests and complaints, arrange for repairs and maintenance, and perform basic upkeep tasks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide transportation for cleaners if necessary and perform cleaning tasks if required.
• Assist with room inspections and other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in tourism management/hospitality/hotel management or any related field.
• Passionate about customer service and the hospitality industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customer situations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and occasionally outside of regular hours.
• Excellent multitasking abilities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Valid driving license and own transport.

Office hours: 9.00 a.m – 6.00 p.m

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: RM600.00 per month
