Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for performing the company’s accounting functions, including:
- Assist Senior Accounts Officer to maintain up-to-date ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and any related general administrative tasks. Perform timely updates to facilitate up-to-date dashboard reporting for management.
- Assist Senior Accounts Officer to plan and maintain up-to-date cash flow transactions recording and reporting, in doing so, maintain close coordination with finance and also perform reconciliation with bank statements.
- Assist Senior Accounts Officer in verifying and validating all claims submission are accurate and in compliance with company expenditures policy.
- Assist Senior Accounts Officer in making preparation for periodic accounts audit.
Position Requirements
- Experience and Education: minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting functions, with at least a diploma in accountancy (or equivalent). Prior experience in audit firms, or possesses a bachelor degree in accountancy (or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Personality: sense of ownership and responsibility, being proactive, details-oriented, logical thinking and effective planning, being a team player, also being firm and persuasive, and being honest. High EQ, patience, and ability to practice empathy. Good telephony and email writing skills, as well as good interpersonal communication skills.
- Language: proficient in English and Mandarin (oral and written), Bahasa Malaysia (basic oral).
- Travelling: not required.
- IT Literacy: familiar with Microsoft Office Excel and Word, and good to know SAP Business One.
