Job Description
A physiotherapist is responsible for providing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and other specialized treatments to patients of all ages who are suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. As a physiotherapist, you will assess each patient’s condition, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify patients’ needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and improve mobility.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain detailed patient records and track progress over time.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of physiotherapy.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Valid license to practice as a physiotherapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
